Hey there!

I hope you all had a fantastic weekend! Mine was less than thrilling, but what can ya do?.

 

So, I have a card to share today.. plus some WINNERS from the Carta Bella and Echo Park blog hops! Yay!

I don’t think I ever officially announced here on my blog that I am now on the DOODLEBUG design team! Oh, yes! I’m pretty excited about it! I’m loving it so far and the happy and bright designs are right up my alley! I love when I get on a DT and just feel in a ‘happy place’. As always.. I feel so lucky to have been selected! As someone who often struggles with the whole ‘is my work good enough’ thing, I’m always surprised when emails come through for a DT or guest designer work, etc. I’m a lucky, lucky girl!

With that said.. here’s my first Doodlebug DT blog post! I have two other really cute projects to share with you next week, too! For today, I have a card using the ‘LOVE” stickers. You can see some of the other DT girls take on the adorable ‘LOVE” stickers on the DOODLEBUG BLOG. Very cute stuff, peeps!

I decided to make my card have a heart shaped front. My inspiration was a heart shaped candy box. I added some cute ribbon ruffles and it just pulled it all together! Now if there would just be chocolate in the card when I opened it.. *smiles*

Pretty, isn’t it? It has a simple loveliness to it.

There’s the adorable ‘LOVE’ sticker! I added a flower sticker and a flower Doodle-Pop to the bottom right. I really LOVE the Doodle-Pops!
