Echo Park ‘SCOOT’ Birthday Truck

I have been so excited to share this project using Echo Park’s SCOOT collection!

I created this back for EP’s booth at winter CHA… It’s really hard for me to not share things right away! Anyone else like that?

Scoot is such an amazing boys collection! I was SO inspired by the cute papers and stickers. I thought a cute birthday boy centerpiece would be fantastic.. but what shall I make?

Of course I fall back to my trusty SVG Cuts files! The Ryan’s Play Date SVG Kit has a perfectly adorable little truck.. and then my birthday boy truck was born! (After a rough 1.5hrs of labor.. pain med free, too!.. LOL!)

So, here it is.. vroom-vroooom!

  • DESIGN NOTE: Cut the SVG Cuts truck files AS SIZED. I added a button over each wheel and little star stickers on the headlights. You can also use acetate for the windows so they are clear!

CUTE, CUUUUTE! Seriously. What little boy wouldn’t LOVE this?!

I added some gumballs in the back.. The back of the truck is perfect for little treats.

I wanted to jazz it up even more, so I added a rosette onto a dowel and adhered it inside the truck. Added a touch of twine, buttons, ‘flying’ plane, and some more stickers..  The perfect finishing touch!

When I was working on this project I thought of all the cute party decor you could make! Hats, cupcake wrappers, etc. You could get the digital collection and print away all the papers you’d need! I seriously love how Echo Park papers are just SO inspiring to me.

Before I let you go, I wanted to invite you to join the Echo Park design team next Monday, FEB 18TH! The DT will be showing off some fun projects with the latest Echo Park collections! Hope you’ll join us!

Have a great weekend! My birthday is tomorrow so my weekend should be FUN! I am turning 30.. eeek! THIRTY!

I’m on a roll!

Are you sick of the layouts yet? lol. I am on a mission to make three this week. Practice makes perfect, right?..

Today I have a layout to share featuring my oldest daughter, Autumn. I actually got a little sad making this one. She’s been living with her dad and step mom since last summer and I sure miss her face around here every day. She is a very dramatic and ’unique’ child who can be more than a handful at times and she may make me wanna jump on the crazy train within an hour of her being here, but it drives me nuts when she’s away! I feel so guilty that she’s always missing so much around here.. I mentioned in a post recently that I postponed our little ‘love party’ for the kids since hubby was sick and she wasn’t here.. well now she won’t be here THIS weekend either and we will have to do it without her. Her dad and step mom are going to visit some family that she doesn’t see too often, so I sucked it up and gave her permission to go along with them. *sigh*. I usually don’t share too much ‘personal’ stuff here.. but this split family stuff is for the birds! Seriously. I TRY not to be selfish when it comes to my feelings, but it hurts to be pushed aside for another weekend so she can do something else… especially when I really wanted her here for our little party. It bums me out to think that I might do a Photo Freedom page or layout about our little party and her cute little face won’t be in the photos. *pouts*

Now I see why they say scrapbooking is an emotional hobby. I eat my emotions.. and I felt like shoving a box of thin mints down my throat. Thankfully, I don’t have any crap food laying around… so I did the next best thing… drank coffee and made a cute little layout.

I used Echo Park Paper ‘For the Record 2′. I used a mix of brads and a little touch of flair. This layout was suppose to have journaling… journaling that was to be printed.. and welp, wouldn’t ya know my wonderful luck.. my printer won’t ‘feed’ the paper in anymore. I JUST bought this printer. This is the same thing that happened to my last printer. Grrr.. so irritating! Guess I will be calling Canon tomorrow. I do like it without journaling though!

I LOVE these photos of my daughter. She still has some baby face chub going on here.. which is now long gone.

THE DESIGN:

I notice I like to be ‘matchy matchy’ as much as possible. If the photos do not match the paper a bit, then I process them to black and white. The FTR2 collection had the PERFECT shades of blue with touches of black to match her dress and denim jacket. I toned down the colors of everything but the clothing to bring in the softer creams and browns in the other papers. She’s very pale so I think this all pulled together nicely. I used several brads, stickers, and chipboard to pull it all together. I created a sense of ‘movement’ with the flowers and doilies going down the right side of the layout. I then balanced that out on the left side of the layout. I added a simple title to the top and that’s it!

So… talk to me, peeps! If you make layouts are you a heavy journaler? I don’t think I could be. For one.. I hate, hate, haaate my writing. I feel the ugly writing would take away from the beauty of the layouts (for me). I wish I had that pretty loopy writing everyone else seems to have! Yes, I am jealous of others handwriting. lol. One of the EP DT members said it adds to the layout to have ‘your’ writing on it. I dunno.. while I agree, I know MY eyes would just go to the 5 year old looking writing. Hmmm. Then with my latest ‘fish face boy’ layout I printed my journaling.. LOVED IT.. buuuuut, I very rarely know what to say. I can’t say “I love you.. you make me smile.. you’re so cute” on every.single.layout. I can easily have things to say if it were a layout about a Disneyland trip or something.. a birthday party, etc. But what about those layouts where you just use the photos because you like them.. Nothing going on, just a cute kid. I know these are for ‘me’ and I can do whatever the heck I want, but I really am curious to what others do and how their mind works when designing.

Alrighty.. I’m off! Thanks for stopping by!

Echo Park Paper ‘Scoot’ card!

First of all.. how cute is the collection name ‘Scoot’? It just sounds so cute and playful! This new Echo Park Paper collection is full of bright colors, playful patterns, and adorable stickers!

I made this cute card for the EP booth, and now I get to share it with you all! If you’re interested in making one it is a FREE project download which you can get RIGHT HERE.

Here’s my Scoot ‘Up, up and away!” card!

I created some fun ‘paper quilled’ circles to create clouds! I thought this was a really cute touch!

Hopefully you’ve been inspired by this little card! Want more card ideas? Echo Park/Carta Bella just released our latest idea book ‘Creative Cards’. It’s FULL of gorgeous cards and you can download it RIGHT HERE!

Ok, this is a short post today.. I’ve got things to get done around here… cleaning. bleh.  My husband is pretty sick right now and I am doing my best to stay away from the germies. He just went to urgent care so fingers crossed it’s nothing too serious. He’s been sick over a week now and ‘really bad’ the past four days. No fun. So while he’s gone I’m gonna clean up a bit since I’ve avoided doing anything too ‘loud’ while he’s been resting. Perfect excuse not to vacuum! LOL! After that I think I will finish up this other layout I started! Ah.. and speaking of layout.. I woke up this morning to be a ‘top 3′ most bookmarked on Two Peas. Amazing.. really!

OH! and a little FYI.. if things start looking weird in here this weekend it’s because I am changing over my blog color palette to coordinate with my craft room colors.. Weird. Perhaps, lol. But it will be PURTY!

See ya later! Have a great weekend!

Echo Park DT December blog hop!

Welcome to the Echo Park Paper Design Team Blog Hop! Today the Echo Park Paper Design Team is showcasing projects from our latest collections. Be sure to follow the blog hop list below as you hop from one blog to the next. Return to the Echo Park Paper blog at any time for the next blogger on the list in case you get lost or confused! ONE winner will be selected from each blog to receive an Echo Park Paper collection kit of their choosing. To qualify for the kit, comments will be due by midnight EST, Sunday, December 23rd to qualify for the drawing. The winner will be announced on each blog Monday, December 24th so be sure to check back to see if you’ve won!

So, I have been sick over a week now and haven’t really been in the crafty mood. So this on is simple.. and this post is short and to the point (If you’re a regular reader of mine, you know I love to ramble, lol). I am FINALLY on the tail end of this sickness and am happily crafting and prepping for all the fun in store for the next week! Sooooo stinkin’ excited for Christmas! Santa went a bit crazy again… and I don’t care! Every year starting in October I give myself the good ‘ol.. “You WILL behave this Christmas. You will NOT go overboard” talk.. Pssssssh. I’ve come to realize this is just ‘me’ and it would take a darn near miracle for me to not be a crazed Christmas buffoon. My husband says he has accepted the crazy. LOL!

Anyhow, (I almost started rambling there for a minute, lol) I made this cute ‘present’ gift bag using Echo Park’s This & That Christmas. It’s VERY simple. I honestly wanted to do more, but it wasn’t happening. Still very cute and useful though!

Now, I have been designed for SVG Cuts for almost 2 years now (small break in that time, but still..) and I haven’t really given much look at this cute present bag in the Christmas Gift Bags & Boxes SVG Kit until recently. I have used that star bag SEVERAL times though! So it was something ‘new’ for me. I actually have another version of this bag that I need to finish. At his rate, it might not be until after Christmas though, lol. I need to get busy baking soon.. Mmmm.. cookies before crafting!

Before I send you off to the next blog, I wanted to share these cute tags using the Happy Holidays mini theme!

Totally cute, right? I love how the journaling cards made perfect tag bases!

Annnd.. one last thing. A recent Winter Wishes project! This one is a FREE PDF download HERE. This one is great for a gift giving! I got my cute little tin pail at the Dollar Tree.

OK, friends.. time to send you off to Linda’s blog!

Here’s the blog list in case you’re lost.

*waves* see ya later!

EP’s Photo Freedom ‘Dear, Santa’ kit!

Hey, hey! Are you all staying warm? I am sitting here with some coffee and my little space heater TRYING to stay warm. We got some snow last night and while I just LOVE the snow, I hate being cold when I can’t cuddle up by a fire or in my warm cozy bed. But, I have a few things to share and thought I better get to blogging! So.. here I am. Freezing just for you guys.

So, I am sure you’ve all seen me mention a billion times that I am not a ‘scrapbooker’. I am not exactly sure WHY I don’t scrapbook. I have three beautiful monsters and a fantastic camera that I know how to use properly.. We do plenty of fun stuff to make memories of.. but yet, I leave folders and folders of photos on my computer and don’t print them. I have TONS of paper.. I just don’t ‘get it’. I have tried several times to create a layout and 1 ou of 5 times ends up in something worth sharing. I see all these AMAZING scrapbookers who’s style I love and I love what THEY do. But when it comes to my pages.. I don’t want tons of journaling.. ink splatters.. giant flowers, etc. I just want it ‘clean’. Then I stare at it forever saying to myself, “Is it done?.. It doesn’t look done.. I am pretty sure I am sitting on my cat’s tail right now…” Poor kitty. Really though. I just need to find a ‘flow’ and a style for ME and have at it. But, until then.. I have Echo Park’s PHOTO FREEDOM!

I am FREEEEEEE… That’s how I felt when I started playing with the Dear, Santa kit. I was SO stressed at first. I even contemplated asking our DT coordinator to be skipped for this DT assignment. Nope.. I sucked it up and found some cute photos to print. I laid them all out on the table with my Dear, Santa kit, took a deep breath, and jumped in!….. And I survived! Really, people. If you’re like me and not much of a scrapbooker THIS is for you. No joke. I think my issue is trying to ‘fill up’ that big ‘ol 12×12 page (I know you can do smaller pages, but I like the look of the larger pages). With the Photo Freedom kits that ‘scary big page’ issue is broken up into this little ‘you can handle this’ sections. Once I stopped looking at it as a big scary 12×12 sheet I had to fill up, it all came together.. a little section at a time.

I did choose to keep my pages simple and clean and focus on the pretty pictures. I absolutely HATE my writing (AKA: chicken-scratch) so I avoid journaling (Santa needs to being mama a typewriter!). I also wanted to show the collection nicely, so I didn’t mix in much from other companies as far as stamps, alphas, and embellishments go.

So, here they are! My five Photo Freedom Dear, Santa pages! YAY!

My first page focuses on Christmas morning. (Gah! Seeing this makes me so excited for Christmas!! 12 days, peeps.. TWELEVE DAYS!!!!)

I love these die-cut numbers from Lori Whitlock! They were the perfect little added touch to my page.

The second page shows my youngest daughter getting her most wanted gift, a Nintendo DSi XL. She was THRILLED! Again, I added in some die-cuts and then a bit of some American Crafts white glittery alphas.

This page is all about gingerbread fun! I printed a 6×8 photo to split, which I think was a great idea! It’s such a yummy photo and just needed to be BIGGER! For the ‘JOY” card, I used my craft knife to cut out the middle of the circle to use as a frame. CUTE!

This one is my favorite, I think! I just love the aqua blue and teal! This page shows when our elf ‘Snowflake’ came and brought some Polar Express fun!

I printed the main photo onto textured Carta Bella cardstock.. came out GREAT! It’s just a tad small for this section of the page protector, but it doesn’t look bad. As you can see I die-cut some vellum snowflakes, added some stamping, etc. I really just love this little section!

This one.. to be honest.. is kinda ‘eh’ for me. For one.. it’s a 12×12 full page (you know.. the scary 12×12 pages I mentioned earlier? lol). I just added a photo of one of my trees, some ‘negative’ snowflakes with vellum behind them, and some rub-ons. Nothing crazy exciting.

What do ya think? I was pretty excited to share this with you all! The whole ‘pocket’ scrapbooking is so crazy popular right now! So what about you?.. If you’re a scrapbooker have you given this ‘style’ a try? And if you’re like me and don’t really scrapbook, have you thought about giving this Photo Freedom stuff a go? It really does make things so much easier!

You can see all the current and upcoming Echo Park Photo Freedom kits HERE. For a little how to on one of my pages (4×6 horizontal) you can get the free PDF download RIGHT HERE.

And before I let ya go, have you heard about the AMAZING giveaways happening over at SVG Cuts? You MUST check it out! Latest SVG Cuts project – Happy Holidays Treat Mug

Heeeeeey there!

So excited to share my latest  SVG Cuts project! I knew I wanted a ‘mug’ for holiday goodie packaging.. SVG Cuts does have a cute teacup in the Tea For You and Me kit, but the style just would not work. I needed a mug, darn it! Soooo.. I made a mug from a beach pail.. Oh, yeah! And the best part is, it actually WORKED, lol (I won’t get into how many ‘flop’ projects I’ve had.) I am not one for making the ‘outside the box’ projects.. my brain doesn’t work like that, but I gotta say.. I felt all crazy cool making my mug from a pail, LOL! *does a little dance*

So, here’s my holiday mug treat holder! I was going to put marshmallows in it, but the caramel popcorn looked prettier. Besides, I rather eat popcorn instead marshmallows, lol.

Not that I eat stuff I use for projects or anything… *wipes popcorn crumbs off my face*

Isn’t it so ‘warm’ feeling? I love the papers I used! I used some Simple Stories with a small touch of October Afternoon and Echo Park. My favorite part.. besides the popcorn of course, is the snowflake with that big ‘ol wood button!

I was pretty amused with the fact that the boxwoods I made from SVG Cuts 3D Wintergreens Kit actually came out.. and what’s this?… Those shiny red things.. “Oooohhhh.. shiiiiiiny” lol. I used my Epiphany Crafts shape tool (round 14) for some ‘berries’.

Yes.. to YOU!….. I am so nice, right?

Just don’t be mad if the mug is empty when you get it.

LOL..

In all honesty, I’m actually not big on popcorn… and this set still looks exactly like the photos, popcorn and all. No crumbs on my face to wipe off.. etc. I am such a fibber.. waaah. Lying to my blog readers for their entertainment. *hangs head* Although, were you really THAT entertained at the thought of me eating popcorn?..

Maybe if you have a unshowered chick eating popcorn at her craft table fetish or something. Weird.

Anyhow, if ya want to make one for yourself you’ll need these SVG Cuts kits. Even if you don’t wanna make this super cool mug, you still need these kits, so click on over and snag’em!

A little more kits than I normally would use, but sometime’s you just NEED something from another kit to make it look just right. For example, I used just the little pitcher handle from the Home for the Holidays kit, that’s it.. But the mug would not be the same without it!

Now, for all the sizing deets, head on over to THIS blog post! I walk ya through step-by-step on how to make this! If you make one.. or 100.. share them on my Facebook page (and SVG Cuts page) We all LOVE to see our (DT members) work recreated by the SVG Cuts fans! makes us feel like cool kids. Although, I am cool either way, so.. yeah.

Anyhow, while I am talkin’ SVG Cuts, did you see their announcement for the 12 days of Christmas? Almost wish I wasn’t on the DT so I could play along.. lol (not really!) But seriously.. GREAT prizes, peeps! Sizzix eclips, Silhouette Cameo, paper, embellishments (including some from my shop, Paper Play Studio!), $100 gift card.. So be sure to be on the look out and join in the fun! It’s gonna be ah-maaaaaaazing!

Alrighty, time for me to stop yappin’ and send ya packin’.

No.. no need to read that last sentence again.. it was lame enough the first time around.

Welcome to the Echo Park November blog hop!

Welcome, welcome, welcome!! *waves* Thanks for joining us for the Echo Park Paper monthly DT blog hop! I always love you all stopping by to tell me how much you love me, lol jk! (But.. feel free to! Heh!)

To qualify for the kit, comments will be due by midnight EST, Sunday, November 25rd to qualify for the drawing. The winner will be announced on each blog Monday, November 26th,  so be sure to check back to see if you’ve won! Good luck!

I have two little projects and a recipe to share.. oh, yes! It’s that time of year! All our butts will grow two sizes and I am here to help! No need to thank me.

But just in case you’re lookin’ forward to a more round back side…. You’re welcome.

First up I have this DARLING snowman container. This doesn’t have too much Echo Park going on, but that’s ok! That’s why I have two projects to share. For both my projects I used Echo Park Paper’s ‘This & That Christmas’. So lovely!

I mean seriously. I die. How CUTE is this? Look at this face! Looook!

To create this I used my Sizzix eclips cutting machine and the SVG Cuts kit,  Christmas Open House. I absolutely love how this snowman goes together! A perfect sized treat container, too! I cut the body out with Carta Bella kraft cardstock which is GREAT for die cutting. It’s nice and thick and holds shape very well. I used some Echo Park clear stamps (Holly Jolly Christmas and Season’s Greetings from 2011) to stamp brown snowflakes all over. The idea of this was inspired by my friend Thienly (since she recently did a kraft paper snowman), and also the banana bread packaging that I am about to share..

Yup! ‘nana bread packaging.. here it is! Mmmmmmm! Smells SO good! If you wanna smell some too.. I am going to share the recipe with ya in a bit! Until then, feel free to lick your computer screen.

A big yummy loaf of greatness!

Yes, folks.. dust off that paper crimping tool! I love mine and especially love it over kraft cardstock! Made a beautiful textured bread wrap. Love the look of the brown stamped snowflakes all over.

See that ’25′ flair? That’s from my little flair shop, Paper Play Studio! You can find it in the December Daily 8pk of flair!

And TODAY (Monday 11/19) is the last day to use the code ILOVEPPS for the buy 2 get 1 free deal! This is my LAST sale of the year!  Check out my FACEBOOK page for more details or head on over to the store to check out all my FLAIR!

Sooooo.. here’s where I ask ya, “What did ya think?.. You likey?”..

I hope I’ve inspired ya.. and if not.. I hope you leave here with a craving for banana bread at least! LOL!

Not inspired and hate bananas? Well, you’re just no fun then!

I am kidding of course.. You’re still fun…. ish.

 *wink*

Preheat that oven, y’all and find some practically rotten bananas!

Here’s the RECIPE I use. I do make it my ‘own’ though. I use 1 tablespoon of cinnamon and 4 VERY ripe smallish/medium bananas (mash ‘em reaaaally good.) And people, for the love of muffin tops, use REAL butter! It makes all the difference in your baking. Oh.. and I do 1/2c brown sugar and a 1/2c white sugar. PERFECTO! This recipe is FABULOUS and peeps ask me all.the.time how to make it.

Now that I’ve rambled, threw some photos at ya, and made you hungry, I will send you off to the sweet and talented Linda Auclair

If you happen to stumble upon my blog, or ya lost your way.. here’s the hop list! Remember to leave comments for a chance to WIN!! PLEASE try to remember to leave a way to contact you. If you enter your email address for my blog, it will NOT show up when you post. Only I will see it….. and I only send SPAM emails for discounted Viagra to people who don’t like bananas.

That’s it! Have a great week!

Huh.. just realizing that someday someone might Google ‘discounted Viagra’ and end up on my blog.. LOL! “I don’t have that, but here’s a very exciting paper snowman to look at!!”

*crickets chirping*

*whack.. whack.. whack.. *

No.. I’m not whacking at you.. I’m whacking at all the crickets that are hanging around in here! Get on outta here you crickets with your big heads and weird skinny legs!

Holy moley.. seriously, Tamara?! You haven’t blogged since October 19th?..  *hands head* Major blogger fail.

If anyone is still around here, I am SO sorry to have neglected my blog. I got a few “Are you alive” comments/emails and I’m here to say.. yes, I AM alive. (Well, as alive I can be without any coffee in me yet)… So I guess that would be more like, I am here.. but I’m totally a zombie. Braaaaaaains.

So, what HAVE I been doing if I haven’t been hanging around my blog entertaining you all?.. Well, let’s just say I have been busy and just ‘mentally’ tied up. I had a rough mid/end of October and early November but I brushed the crafty funk away and have projects in the works and it feels goooood! Life sometimes gets in the way, ya know? It can’t always been crafting, fun times, wearing underware on your head, and coffee.. lol.

Anyhow, I have a few things to share! Just some cute cards I have created for Echo Park.. my paper lover. Most of you might have seen these on EP’s blog.. but I love ‘em, so they need to be on my blog, too!

First up is a 3D ‘tree’ card created with This & That ‘Christmas’ collection. This collection is just SO beautiful! I think this card came out really cute. That woodgrain paper is so lovely!

If you want to give this ‘cone’ tree technique a try, I made up a little (and perfectly pin-able) tutorial!

1). Cut 3-4 circles. My largest circle was about 3 – 3.25″. Make each additional circle slightly smaller than the previous one. Fold circles in half to create a ‘guide’ line.

2). Open up circle and using the guidelines you folded, add a very thin line of glue. Adhere together on opposite ends along the folded line.

3). Pinch and fold into a cone shape (photo does not show my circle adhered, so you could do it without step #2, but it does help it fold nicer and more evenly)

4). Repeat with all your circles and then adhere/layer them into each other like shown. Then adhere to your card, layout, etc.! Super easy and a great way to add dimension!

If you give this a go, I’d love for you to share it on my FACEBOOK WALL! I always love to see your projects inspired by my work.

Now here’s a very sweet little shaker card using Echo Park’s mini theme, ‘Happy Holidays’ I LOVE the colors and stickers in this theme and wish it was a full collection. I can’t get enough! I created this card by creating a scalloped oval die cut window with a sheet of acetate and glitter behind it. Creates a fun wintery scene with the tree stickers. I added a cluster of embellishments with buttons, stickers, and twine! My favorite! I love to jumble things together and didn’t realize I did that until Mary (From SVG Cuts) pointed it out.. then I was like, oh yeah! I am a total cluster-er. lol!

I just love those little candy stickers! I topped them with a round Epiphany Crafts epoxy sticker.

Since I am on the topic of Echo Park, did you SEE the new collection? Are you feeling the ‘love’?… I know I am! Can’t wait to get my hands on this pretty collection. This collection will also have embellishments! Such a treat! Click HERE to view the full collection!

And let’s not forget PHOTO FREEDOM! I just got done with my assignment using the ‘Dear Santa’ kit. I gotta admit, I was a little ‘worried’ because this is something I’ve never done before. Did I mention layouts and the like scare me? lol. Buuuut, I DID it! I even enjoyed it! I can see how this kind of ‘scrapbooking’ is becoming so popular now. It’s EASY! Slide some pre-made images in the sleeves, add in some photos and a bit of embellishing and ta-da! Awesomeness! If you follow me on my INSTAGRAM you might have seen a few peeks of my work.  I can’t wait to share them with you all! There’s a NEW free idea book out to show you ways to use the Photo Freedom kits! Check it out!

Alrighty, peeps! Time to head off of here! Thanks so much for stopping by and I am happy to be ‘back in action’.

Now.. time for that coffee.. at.. oh.. 3:30pm. GAH!

I had a lot of fun working with these cute stamps from Great Impressions Stamps! They are GREAT quality and stamp very clean, as I am sure you’ve noticed from the designers before me! I used Echo Park Paper’s ‘This and That Christmas’.. So just by using those stamps and that paper, it’s automatically a kick butt project!.. Right? *nods*

I made a cute card and gift box set! I think my blog name should be ‘Happy Life, allimakeisboxes’. LOL. If you are a regular around here you know how I love me some packaging. I always have a gift or treat to give.. yet when it comes time to giving, I don’t wanna give out my ‘cool’ stuff, lol.

Here’s my project! Ooooh… Ahhhhh… Ahhh-chooo! (sorry that sneeze snuck in there.. )

Awww, yuh! Not bad for a last minute project, eh.. ehhhhh?… Go me! (Totally was busy this past week/weekend and had to get a project done the day before this hop started.. got this lovely set done in about 1.5hrs… Two points for me!)

Not sure what the ‘points’ are all about.. but it sounded good.

100 points to you for being here! You can get yourself a giant sticky ‘slap hand with that! (You know.. all those cheap crud toys that are worth five cents.. yet you spend $20 in tickets for it? lol)

Anyhow, check out the cute dark brown snowflake stamps on the woodgrain paper! It’s so subtle.. unlike myself.

This darling gift box was created by cutting the ‘glove box’ file from SVG Cuts ‘Mothers Garden’ SVG Kit! It’s fabulous and a perfect size! (although I switched up the top and added in stars in my eCal cutting software)  This would be great for cookies, etc.

I think I say ALL my packaging ideas are great for treats and cookies.. LOL. Soooomebody likes treats!

Really though.. what else can I say?

“This is the perfect box for your gum wrappers, nose hair trimmings, and used toothpicks!”

Yeah. Treats it is!

This card is ‘the card the wasn’t suppose to be’… I was stamping on a Canvas bag and felt like a turd. I JUST made some canvas stamped bags and my regular blog readers might start to get bored with me. “Hey, Tamara.. While you’re stamping on that 100,000th canvas bag, why don’t ya shove your head it in?.. Booooring”. So, to prevent this, I cut up the bag and slapped it onto a card base after I frayed the edges and stitched around them. Add on some ribbon, button, brad, and a sticker.. why.. You have yourself a cool and unique card! Yes.. I amaze myself! I love when things just ‘happen’. I thought the card needed something with it, so while resisting the urge to stamp 20,001 more canvas bags for my project, I made the gift box.

Are you tired of my rambling yet? I am sure you’d loooove me to ramble on for days, but I have some trash TV ‘reality’ shows calling me from my DVR… “Taaaaaamara.. come watch us so you can feel better about yourself” I can choose from Hoarders, or New Jersey Housewives. lol. Both? Me thinks so!

I will now send ya off to Jennifer I am sure she will have some lovely stamped yumminess for you!

And since I am soooo close to my 3,000 followers on FACBOOK.. will you please come ‘like’ me if you wanna be a cool kid? It’s true.. My followers are the coolest around! Dooo iiiiiit! *smiles* I promise not to sneeze on you anymore.

Feel free to pin my project! My green ‘pin it’ link is not working, but you can use that snazzy gray/red one! THANKS!

Freshly brewed up PDF’s and a blog post for Echo Park!

You like that, huh?.. ‘freshly brewed’.. Like witches brew.. get it?.. maybe?.. Halloween coming and all?.. eh.

So, I (and the other DT members!) have fresh new FREE PDF projects up for grabs through Echo Park! I am excited to share a few with ya!

First up is this Chillingsworth Manor card. This is actually on the blog today, STOP BY AND SEE HOW I MADE IT! I really like it! Of course I threw some wire in there.

Next up is another Chillingsworth Manor card (I’ve been buried in this collection.. me likey. me likey a lot). This is a FREE PDF project download with full instructions and supply list. Get it HERE!

There’s that wire again.. Remember, I am the rosette abuser, pleated trim over user, and the wire goober. LOL! Ah.. I crack myself up. I’m so lame. And I like it.

Moving on with the awesomeness, I have this adorable stocking up with a FREE PDF download! You might have seen this in the newsletter that recently went out. Get it RIGHT HERE! I really like how this came out, and I hope you do too! I love working for Echo Park and designing these things to ‘hopefully’ inspire you all! Are ya feeling inspired?.. *grins*

‘Feel inspired dag-nabbit!!!!’ *pokes you with a pitchfork*

Not sure why I have a pitchfork.. Am I a little devil.. or an old grumpy farmer?

LOL!

Last one to share, I posted a photo of this before, but the download is up now, RIGHT HERE! This is such a fun gift box!

Which one is your favorite?.. I am always curious what people are drawn to. It seems like that projects I extra super duper love seem to be ’so-so’ for others (or you love ‘em.. and just don’t comment, etc.).. and the projects I am ‘Eh.. it’s cool’ about get oodles of comments and love. So weird. Am I the messed up one? Or is it all of you?.. LOL jk!

Before I head off and get some projects done, be sure you download the NEW FREE ebook ‘Season’s Greetings’ It is quite amazing! Jen Gallacher always does such a great job with them. I pink fluffy heart love her. The DT rocked it and there’s SO many inspiring projects from both Echo Park AND Carta Bella.. I am lucky enough to be on both teams *smiles*. I have four projects in this book. There was a little boo-boo and one project was credited to another designer.. it’s a cute little tree box (Pleated designed tree on top.. of course, lol).  I can’t show you anything from the book, so get on the download buttons and see for yourself!

Oh! I created this ‘Pin worthy’ image if you’d like to pin these cards! My regular ‘pin it’ link is not working, but you can use the little gray/red one at the very end of the post. Enjoy!

See ya soon! I am a busy bee over here today!
